We have six days left until our campaign comes to a close, and we currently have 16 girls who are going to be attending this year's WELocal Conference which is amazing and the largest group from SLU that has ever attended! This upcoming Monday we are having a resume and networking session to get all the ladies prepared for the conference. Then a few of us are meeting with the St. Louis SWE chapter on Thursday to connect better with the SWE community around us in the area. It has been an amazing experience this past month seeing the support from all of you who have donated or are thinking about donating and investing in our future female engineers. Hi everyone! Thank you again for considering to donate or donating to our page and sponsoring us to go to the SWE Conference. A little bit about us, we are SLU's only female engineering group. This semester we received a grant to fund new engineering programs through R2K, Revitalization 2000, for students in north St. Louis. Last semester we took a tour of Cortex St. Louis to better understand the growth of start-ups and innovation in the St. Louis area. Every few weeks we organize social events to bridge the connections amongst our female engineering population. Lastly, we work on networking and understanding the role of women in the engineering field, hence our drive to attend this Conference! Thank you for supporting us to continue networking with others and better understanding our future career goals while surrounded by incredible women!
