To ensure trauma patients achieve optimal post-traumatic growth, it is important to address several integral health-related constructs. Providing interdisciplinary, holistic, patient-centered care that promotes a positive quality of life, nurtures resilience and prepares a patient for a confident transition will empower a patient to thrive during recovery.
Right now, we are just team of professionals volunteering time above normal job duties to meet with patients in the trauma department. $300,000 would allow us to contract employees to expand our services full-time as opposed to 2-3 patients at a time as we're doing right now. We are using this crowdfunding platform as a launching pad towards that $300,000 goal.
A generous donor, Walter Knoll, will match all gifts, dollar for dollar, brought in through this project up to $10,000. Your support will help us gain necessary funds to launch the innovative care needed by so many.
