Flying Billikens

The Flying Billikens is an intercollegiate flight team that is open to any student with a passion for aviation and a desire to sharpen their skills in a competitive environment. We compete in a number of flight and ground events. Although the goal is to win, competitions open opportunities to visit different flight schools, network with fellow students, and gain deeper aeronautical knowledge. 

This year the Flying Billikens have qualified for the 2019 NIFA National Safecon at University of Wisconsin. The team has not attended the competition in nearly a decade and it is our honor to perform this year and uphold the prestige of Saint Louis University. Our goal is for 13 competitors and 1 advisor to attend and compete in both flying and ground tests at the highest level. 

We are looking to raise $5,000 to fund aircraft rental, aviation fuel, and student travel expenses. Through this competition we hope to inspire other students to continue deepening their knowledge and passion for aviation.  Please consider making a gift today to help us represent Saint Louis University in the National NIFA Intercollegiate Flight Competition.
