AeroBills: SAE Aero Design Competition
AeroBills is an Aerospace Senior Design team in SLU's Parks College of Engineering, Aviation, and Technology. The group of four senior aerospace engineering students have chosen to participate in SAE's Aero Design West Regular Class Competition in April of 2019. The competition consists of student teams from around the world that are required to design and build a heavy left remote control aircraft. This year's objective is to design an aircraft that can carry as many tennis ball passengers and metal luggage plates as possible while adhering to given size and power limits. We have spent this fall semester designing our aircraft, and we are so excited to start building it!
We are looking to raise $5,500 to cover the cost of our airframe, tools and electronics for the aircraft, and travel to California to compete in April. Through this competition, we will learn and grow immensely as engineers and be prepared for our future careers.
Please consider making a gift today to help us have the opportunity to represent SLU in the SAE Aerodesign West Competition!
